Which Golf Mystery Box Should You Buy? Members vs Captains vs Presidential

Members Box — £28
The fundamentals, covering several categories at once rather than one thing in bulk. It is the right box if your budget is a Secret Santa limit, if it is going in a stocking alongside other things, or if you are buying for someone who has only just taken the game up and loses everything.
Where it is the wrong choice: as a standalone main present for someone you want to impress. It is a good box for the money, but £28 of golf gear is £28 of golf gear, and it will not carry a birthday on its own.
Captains Box — £54
Our most popular box, and the one we would pick if someone handed us the money and no other information. There is enough in it to stand alone as a main present, and it sits at the price point where a gift stops feeling like a token.
This is the default answer for a partner, a sibling, a friend, or a dad. If you are hovering between this and the Members Box for a main present, buy this one.
Presidential Box — £94
The only box with a published guaranteed contents list, which makes it the safe choice when you want to know what you are handing over:

The one detail to get right
Every box includes a glove, so checkout asks for a size and which hand. Golfers wear the glove on their lead hand, which is the opposite hand to the one they play with — a right-handed golfer wears it on the left. Most adult men take a Medium.

Common questions
Can I see what is in the Members and Captains boxes before I buy?
Not item by item — that is what makes them mystery boxes, and it is what lets us pack in more than a fixed set at the same price. You know the categories: balls, a glove, headwear, tees, markers and course accessories. If you want certainty, buy the Presidential or use Build Your Box.
Will two boxes have the same contents?
Not usually. We pack from what is best in stock that week, which is why the contents move through the year.
Is a mystery box a good present for a fussy golfer?
If they will only play one specific ball model, honestly, no. Buy them that model, or a set box where the contents are listed. Mystery boxes are better for golfers who are happy with good gear rather than one exact thing.
What if it is not right when it arrives?
