Captains Mystery Box

The Captains sits in the middle of our three golf mystery boxes. Nine golf balls, a tour-standard glove in your size and a brand-name cap are guaranteed in every single one. The surprise is which brands, which colourways, and what else we pack in around them.

What is guaranteed in every Captains Box

Most mystery boxes ask you to take it on trust. We would rather tell you what is in it before you buy, and keep the surprise for the brands and the extras. Every Captains Box contains, as a minimum:

• 9 golf balls — six A-grade balls from top brands, and at least three premium tour balls
• A tour-standard golf glove, in the size and hand you choose
• A brand-name golf cap
• Two golf ball markers
• 100 bamboo golf tees
• Clubhouse Goods sherbet lemons
• Our gift box, packed by hand and ready to hand straight over

What else could be inside

That is the floor, not the ceiling. Beyond the guaranteed contents, every box carries a chance at a rotating selection of golf gear:

No two boxes are ever exactly the same. Bonus extras are added at random and are not guaranteed in every box.

Who the Captains Box is for

It is the box most people reach for when they are buying for someone else. There is enough in it to read as a proper present, and it covers the things a golfer gets through rather than the things he already owns. Nine balls is most of a season's losses for a weekend player. A new glove is the item they put off replacing longest. A cap solves the one they have been wearing since the year they took the game up.

If you are buying a gift and fifty pounds is about right, this is the one.

Choosing the glove size and hand

Pick your orientation and size S, M, M/L, L or XL. A right-handed golfer wears it on the left. Most adult men take a Medium. Our golf glove size guide has the measurements if you want to be certain, and if it turns up wrong, get in touch and we will replace it.

How the balls are graded

A-grade means excellent condition with only light cosmetic marks. No cuts, no oversized scuffs. There is more detail on our golf ball grading page if you want the full breakdown.

Delivery and returns

Every box is packed by hand once you order, so nothing sits on a shelf. UK delivery is £2.99 and free on orders over £100, on a tracked service. Unused items can be returned within 30 days. Full details are on our shipping and delivery page.

Every box is packed by hand to order, and packing time is included in the UK estimate below.

Tracking is emailed once your order is dispatched, where available. Delivery estimates can vary with courier delays and customs processing.

Because every box is randomly curated, we can't accept returns simply because you hoped for different items - by ordering, you accept the contents are intentionally a surprise. This does not affect your statutory rights.

If you change your mind, contact us within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused and in their original packaging. If anything arrives damaged, faulty or not as described, get in touch and we'll put it right.
