Golf Tees
Golf tees are the one thing every golfer runs out of. They snap on the range, vanish into the rough and never quite make it back into the bag. Ours come in packs of 50, so there is always a handful in your pocket on the first tee.
Which golf tee length do you need?
| Length | Best for |
|---|---|
| 83mm bamboo tees | Drivers with a modern deep face, where you want to tee the ball high. |
| 54mm bamboo tees | Irons, hybrids, fairway woods and par threes. |
Most golfers carry both: a long tee for the driver and a short one for everything else off the tee.
Why bamboo golf tees?
Bamboo is stronger than standard wooden tees, so a single tee survives more drives before it snaps. It also breaks down naturally if it is left on the course, which plastic tees do not.

Tees sit alongside the rest of the small kit in our golf accessories range, including golf gloves and the Tiger ball marker and divot tool. Stocking up on balls too? See our graded golf balls.
Golf tee FAQs
What size golf tee should I use for a driver?
Use a long tee, around 83mm, with a modern driver. Tee the ball so roughly half of it sits above the top edge of the clubface.
What size tee is best for irons?
A short tee, around 54mm, pushed most of the way into the ground. It lifts the ball just clear of the grass.
Are bamboo golf tees better than wooden tees?
Bamboo is stronger than standard wood, so each tee lasts longer, and it breaks down naturally if it is left on the course.
How many tees come in a pack?
Both our 54mm and 83mm bamboo tees come in packs of 50.
